The Harley-Davidson that Social Media Built Unveiled in Milwaukee

When Milwaukee’s the House of Harley-Davidson asked its Twitter, Facebook and blog followers and friends help it build a custom bike, close to 3,500 customers and want-to-be customers lent a hand by tweeting, facebooking and blog posting in their votes. All of this input resulted in a custom-built Harley-Davidson Iron 883.

Given the title of “The Bike that Social Media Built,” the custom ride was unveiled by the House of Harley-Davidson at the Milwaukee Auto Show on February 25. Built for charity, it has been donated by the HoHD to the Fisher House, a charitable organization that provides services to the family members of injured military men and women. The Fisher House is now selling raffle tickets for the motorcycle that will raffled off on November 10.
